The blue liquid doesn’t freeze, what should I do? If one or more of the liquids have not completely frozen, adjust freezer to the coldest setting (-6°F or below*), then repeat steps A and B: A- Shake well the FreezCube, then place it upside-down (numbers on top) for 24-48 hrs B- Turn the FreezCube right-side-up (numbers at bottom) and verify that the four liquids contained within are frozen; if so, leave the FreezCube in your freezer, closely surrounded with frozen foods. They are now under surveillance! *Once the liquids freeze, adjust freezer to appropriate storage temperature. Can I re-use Freezcube? Yes, you can re-use it as many times as you want. How do I know the star category of my freezer (Europe only)? Most freezers have it posted on the inside or outside; otherwise, consult the instruction manual of your apparatus. You can also verify the minimum temperature that your freezer can be set to. Upon my return from a weekend trip, I noticed that only the blue liquid is entirely melted. How do I calculate the remaining days of conservation? No matter how much of the blue liquid has melted, the remaining days of conservation are calculated as follows: 14 days minus the number of days since the last time you verified the Freezcube pyramid. For example, if you verified it the Saturday morning of your departure, and you returned Monday, that makes 14 - 2 = 12 days remaining. My freezer stopped working for several hours during a power failure, and none of the liquids melted. Is this normal? In the event of a break down (no matter what the cause), freezers have a certain autonomy (the most modern can go up to 24 to 48 hours) as long as the freezer door remains closed. The liquids react over time, in very much the same way that food does. It is only when they undergo an increase in temperature that is significantly long that they begin to melt and can thus take several hours before melting completely in the pyramid. I left the door and the drawers of my freezer wide open for approximately fifteen minutes, and the blue liquid started to melt. Is it normal that it melts so quickly? Yes, if the ambient room temperature (example 68°F = 20°C) enters your freezer, the melting time is much faster. Are there chemicals in Freezcube? No, all the products used for the liquids are of food origin. What happens if the Freezcube suddenly breaks in my freezer and what are the risks to my food? Freezcube is manufactured very solidly. That being said, if the liquids had been in contact with food, there is absolutely no danger since the liquids are of 100% food-based origin. Do I have to place my Freezcube in a specific location in the freezer? Not as long as every compartment of your freezer is maintained at 0°F (-18°C) minimum. The Freezcube should be closely surrounded by frozen foods. What should I do if I see that one of the colored liquids is only half melted? The calculation of the remaining days of conservation takes effect as soon as a liquid begins to melt. After an incident occurs and my freezer is functioning normally, how do I restart my Freezcube? Remove the Freezcube from the freezer and wait until all the liquids are completely melted. Then follow the instructions from the beginning: 1. Place the Freezcube upside down in the freezer. 2. After completely freezing, turn the Freezcube right side up in the freezer (pyramid on bottom), and leave it in the freezer. Your freezer is now under surveillance!
